Lithuania to Poland

Continuing south from Penevezys we noticed a church spire towering well above the surrounding countryside in the small town of Ramygala. We parked and set off on foot to have a look around. History states that the first church was built here sometime before 1500. This more recent Neo Gothic church was built in 1897-1914.
